Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Apni Jagir handles personal data collected through this website. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Data Fiduciary is [registered entity name and address to be added].

We collect only what you give us. When you submit an enquiry we record your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number and organisation, together with the message you write and the category you select to describe yourself.

We also record, alongside that submission, the date and time, your IP address and your browser’s user agent string. These are kept for security and abuse prevention, and to evidence the consent you gave.

If you arrived from a campaign link, we record the campaign parameters in that link and the site that referred you, so we can tell which of our own posts led to your enquiry. This is stored in your browser for the duration of your visit and is sent only when you submit a form. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

We process your data to respond to your enquiry, to assess a request for an information memorandum, and to correspond with you about the opportunity you asked about. We rely on the consent you give when you tick the consent box on the form. That box is never pre-ticked.

We record the moment you consent and the version of this policy in force at that moment — currently version 2026-08-03 — so that both of us can establish later exactly what you agreed to.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. Your details are seen by our own team and by the service providers who operate this site on our behalf — our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and the provider of the anti-spam verification on our forms. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Where an enquiry proceeds to a transaction, we may share your details with the landowner and with professional advisors involved in that transaction, and we will tell you before we do.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we have processed it; ask us to correct or complete anything inaccurate; ask us to erase data we no longer need; nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and withdraw your consent at any time.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out while the consent was in force. If you withdraw it, we will stop using your data to correspond with you.

To exercise any of the rights above, write to our Grievance Officer at [Grievance Officer name and email to be added]. We will respond within the period the Act requires.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If we change this policy materially we will publish the revised version here with a new version number. Consents already recorded remain tied to the version in force when they were given.
